Punjab: Moga police, BSF conduct flag march for free, fair and peaceful election

Moga, May 4 (UNI) To maintain peace and ensure free and fair Lok Sabha elections, local police, along with contingents of BSF, conducted a flag march in this town and other adjoining areas on Saturday.

Deputy Superintendent of Police BS Gill said here that the flag march had been conducted to instill a feeling of security among the people, so that they can exercise their votes, without any fear.

He said that the district administration is fully prepared to maintain the law and order during the Lok Sabha Polls with ensuring full protection to the people.
The Moga SSP also directed the police check post and traffic police for checking of the vehicles and to take action if required.

The flag march was started from the SSP office and after passing through the GT, Court road Main Bazzar Railway road it concluded at G.T road.
