Punjab: Man booked on charges of duping money

Phagwara, Mar 29 (UNI) A man on Friday was booked under charges of duping money, police said.

The accused was identified as Baba Jagroop Singh, resident of Phillaur.


According to police, the complainant, Naresh Sondhi complained that the accused duped him of Rs 77,701 by paying him by a cheque on purchase of Iron rods, which got bounced.


The accused has been booked under relevant sections and is yet to arrested, police added.
