Guwahati/IBNS: A massive fire at Basistha area outskirts of Guwahati city gutted several shops, houses and caused losses of several lakh of rupees.
Several shops, houses were completely gutted in the fire incident.
According to the reports, the fire broke out at a shop and quickly spread to nearby shops, houses.
Locals had immediately informed the police and fire service department.
Later, fire tenders and police rushed to the spot and managed to control the situation.
