New Delhi, Apr 27 (IBNS): Based on specific inputs two “Pro-Pak Kashmiri Hackers” were arrested on the night of 26/27 April  by Delhi Police Special Cyber Cell after raiding two locations in Punjab.

The police said one of the arrested is Shahid Malla, a B Tech (IInd Yr), CSE student at Aryan Group of College in Rajpora. He is a permanent resident of Watergam  Rafiabad, of Baramulla district of North Kashmir and was staying in a rented accommodation in Sheetal Colony, Rajpura, Punjab.

Another youth Adil Hussain Teli, a BCA (Final Year) at St Soldiers Mgt & Tech Instt in Jalandhar is a permanent resident of Noonmai Yaripora, of Anantnag district and was staying in a rented room in Jalandhar.

As per their online activities and initial findings the two were part of an anti-national hacking group called Team Hackers Third Eye and claim to have hacked more than 500 Indian websites.

They were also involved in educating Kashmiri youth to bypass state-imposed-social-ban by use of VPN during Apr-May 2017.

Apart from that two were found in touch with several Pak based anti-Indian hackers. Some of them are believed to be backed by Pak Intelligence agencies.

Further, they were found to be pro-Kashmir militancy and pro-Pakistan through their anti-India and seditious post.

The Intelligence agencies said that laptops, mobile phones, SIM Cards, internet dongles and memory devices recovered from them will be examined by Delhi Police in detail to ascertain anti-state activities.

The two are likely to be produced before a court and taken on police remand for further questioning.
