President of India’s Message on the Eve of Independence Day of Ukraine

New Delhi, Aug 23 (IBNS): President of India Pranab Mukherjee has extended his greetings and felicitations to the Government and people of Ukraine on the eve of their Independence Day (August 24, 2016).

In a message to the President of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko,  the Indian President has said, “On behalf of the Government, the people of India and on my own behalf, it is with great pleasure that I convey warm greetings and felicitations to you and to the people of Ukraine on the occasion of your Independence Day.

Relations between India and Ukraine have traditionally been marked by warmth and close cooperation. I am confident that our ties will further strengthen and diversify in the years to come.

I take this opportunity to convey my best wishes for Your Excellency’s good health and well-being, and for the continued progress and prosperity of the friendly people of Ukraine.”
