President of India wishes Lithuania on the eve of National Day

New Delhi, Feb 15 (IBNS): President of India Pranab Mukherjee has extended his greetings and felicitations to the Government and people of the Republic of Lithuania on the eve of their National Day (February 16, 2017).

In a message to the President of the Republic of Lithuania, Dalia Grybauskaite, the Indian President has said, “On behalf of the Government and the people of India and on my own behalf, it is with pleasure that I extend warm greetings and felicitations to Your Excellency and to the people of the Republic of Lithuania on the occasion of your National Day.


Our nations have always shared warm and cordial relations.  I am confident that our two Governments will work together to further strengthen our close ties in the years ahead.

I also take this opportunity to convey my best wishes for your Excellency’s good health and well-being and for the progress and prosperity of the friendly people of the Republic of Lithuania."
