President of India to present Hindi Sevi Samman tomorrow
New Delhi, Apr 18 (IBNS) President Pranab Mukherjee will present the Hindi Sevi Samman for the years 2012, 2013 and 2014 on Tuesday at a function to be held at Rashtrapati Bhavan, officials said on Monday.
"The Hindi Sevi Samman scheme was initiated by Central Hindi Institute, Agra in 1989," read an official statement.
Fourteen scholars receive this award in seven different categories every year for their contribution in the field of Hindi language and literature.
The award consists one lakh rupees and a certificate.
