President greets Oman on the eve of their National Day
New Delhi, Nov 17 (IBNS): President Pranab Mukherjee on Monday extended his greetings and felicitations to the Sultan and people of the Sultanate of Oman on the eve of the National Day of the Sultanate of Oman (November 18, 2014).
In his message to His Majesty Sultan Qaboos Bin Said Al-Said, Sultan of Oman, the President has said, “On behalf of the Government and the people of India and on my own behalf, it is my pleasure to extend warm greetings and felicitations to Your Majesty and the people of the Sultanate of Oman on the occasion of your National Day.
Our two countries have historically enjoyed close and friendly relations based on millennia-old cultural and economic exchanges, marked by extensive people-to-people contacts. I am confident that our mutually beneficial comprehensive partnership encompassing various spheres of engagement will continue to further diversify and strengthen.
I take this opportunity to convey to Your Majesty my best wishes for your personal good health and well-being, and for the progress and prosperity of the friendly people of the Sultanate of Oman”.
