Three alleged miscreants were detained under the stringent Public Safety Act (PSA) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Monday, police said.

Mysir Majeed Malik of Seriwarpora Pattan, Abdul Ahad Dar, and Khursheed Ahmad Waza both residents of Palhallan were booked under PSA after obtaining formal detention orders from the competent Authority.

The booked persons were detained and subsequently lodged in District Jail Kupwara and Anantnag, police said.

" Many cases are registered against these persons and were involved in disturbance of L&O (law and order) and subversion. Despite their involvement in many FIR's, they did not mend their anti-national & social activities,” police said.

The action is part of the crackdown against the anti-national elements in Baramulla district.
