PNB scam accused Nirav Modi arrested in London
London, Mar 20 (IBNS): Fugitive jeweller Nirav Modi has been arrested in London, media reports said.
The businessman is accused of defrauding banks in India.
He will be produced in a court soon, report said.
Nirav Modi is wanted in India in the Rs 13,600 crore PNB scam.
Modi's arrest can enable the start of a trial at the UK court, which can also decide whether to extradite him to India.
He was staying in London in recent times.
