PM upset over BJP leaders' beef remarks, Amit Shah cracks whip
New Delhi, Oct 18 (IBNS): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Amit Shah on Sunday pulled up his party leaders for their controversial remarks on Dadri and beef row, media reports said.
The step was taken since Prime Minister Narendra Modi is reportedly upset over these remarks.
Those summoned included Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, Union Minister Mahesh Sharma, party lawmaker Sangeet Som and controversial party leader Sakshi Maharaj.
The leaders' words had sparked controversy with 42 authors returning their Sahitya Akami Awards.
