PM understands pressure, not any other language: Rahul Gandhi

| | Mar 16, 2016, at 07:11 pm
New Delhi, Mar 16 (IBNS) Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday said Prime Minister Narendra Modi understands no other language apart from pressure and hence should be pressurised more often.

Gandhi was addressing Andhra Pradesh Congress party members from  his party headquarters where he mocked the Prime Minister.

He said  the Congress is committed to helping Andhra Pradesh in their difficult transition phase.

"It was the commitment of Manmohan Singh ji, Congress President &entire Congress Party that we would support the people of AP in this change."

Gandhi accused the BJP government of being negligent towards the state and said, "Unfortunately the Govt of the day is not interested in supporting the people of Andhra Pradesh."

He also said that Andhra Pradesh should receive special category status.

"Special Category Status & AP Reorganization Act are necessary anchors to support AP through a difficult transition."

"It is the Congress Party, not the Telugu Desam, not Jagan Reddy ji's party, that is leading the fight for Andhra Pradesh," Gandhi said.
