PM on two day visit to Assam from Nov 29
Guwahati, Nov 27 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Assam for two days starting Nov 29, an official statement of Assam government said.
The Prime Minister will arrive at Lokapriya Gopinath Bordoloi Airport and will head towards Maligaon Stadium to flag-off the first train from Mendipathar (Meghalaya) to Guwahati by remote and will also unveil the plaque for new rail line from Bhairabi to Salrang (Mizoram) on Nov 29.
Later in the evening, he will inaugurate the 75th anniversary celebrations of The Assam Tribune Group at ITA Auditorium, Machkhowa.
He will wind up the day by a visit to Raj Bhavan.
On Nov 30, Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate the Conference of Director Generals of Police at Assam Administrative Staff College, Khanapara. Later, he will attend a BJP function at Sarusajai Stadium.
The Prime Minister will then leave for Imphal.
