PM Narendra Modi touched by Sunny Deol's 'humility and deep passion'

New Delhi, Apr 28 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi said he felt touched by Sunny Deol's 'humility and deep passion for a better India' as the Bollywood actor met him on Sunday.

Modi said he is expecting to see Sunny's victory in the Lok Sabha polls from the Gurdaspur seat.

Modi tweeted: " What struck me about @iamsunnydeol is his humility and deep passion for a better India. Happy to have met him today. We are all rooting for his victory in Gurdaspur! We both agree- हिन्दुस्तान जिंदाबाद था, है, और रहेगा!"

Sunny Deol joined the Bharatiya Janata Party recently.

Sunny has been fielded by his party from Gurdaspur seat.

Sunny is known for his performance in several memorable Bollywood movies.

He is especially well known for his performance in patriotic movies like Border and Gadar- Ek Prem Katha.
