PM Modi to address US' Summit for Democracy

New Delhi/UNI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will today address the US Summit for Democracy at a Leader-level plenary hosted by South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol.

According to the schedule announced by the US Department of State, the opening remarks will be delivered by US President Joe Biden, President Rodrigo Chaves Robles of Costa Rica, President Hakainde Hichilema of Zambia, Prime Minister Mark Rutte of the Netherlands, and President Yoon Suk Yeol of South Korea. UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres will also deliver his remarks.

Following this, South Korean President Yoon will lead the first Leader-level Plenary on ‘Democracy Delivering Economic Growth and Shared Prosperity’, with the second speaker on the panel to be PM Modi, after the PM of Greece Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
There are eight speakers on this leader-led plenary, including Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu and Italian PM Georgia Meloni.

The virtual address by PM Modi will be after 3 pm today.
