New Delhi, Apr 24 (IBNS): In a non-political chat with actor Akshay Kumar in the election season, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday reacted to the Bollywood star's wife Twinkle Khanna's social media posts targeting the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader.

"I follow social media and aware about what is happening. The way she targets me, I am sure your family life is very peaceful. She (Twinkle Khanna) used to vent her anger upon me," Modi said.

Twinkle, the actress-turned author and interior designer, replied to Modi's comment on Twitter.

"I have a rather positive way of looking at this-Not only is the Prime Minister aware that I exist but he actually reads my work :) " Twinkle, whose Twitter username is Mrs Funnybones, tweeted.

In the course of the interview, Modi revealed that he never wanted to join politics but armed forces.

The Prime Minister also revealed that his political rival Mamata Banerjee is used to gift him with kurtas and sweets every year while reacting to his terms with opponent leaders.
