New Delhi, June 22 (UNI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Korean President Moon Jae-in interacted over Twitter on Yoga and both the leaders pledge to work together.

"My dear friend Moon Jae-in. I was overjoyed to read your message. I fully agree with you on the power of Yoga to unite and further oneness. It is this oneness that will create a better planet," the Prime Minister tweeted in response to a message from the Korean President.

"I am also looking forward to interacting with you in Osaka in the coming days," Modi wrote in another missive.

For his part, Korean President wrote: "I find myself reflecting once again on the spirit and meaning of Yoga today. I look forward to being reunited with Prime Minister Modi at the G20 Summit in Osaka, Japan next week. We will continue to stand together for peace and happiness of humankind".

In his missive, Mr Moon Jae-in further wrote- "Numerous people in the world are already experiencing changed lives by training their bodies and minds through Yoga. I would like to thank the Indian people and Prime Minister Modi for presenting a special gift of Yoga to the world".

Modi also appreciated former President Pranab Mukherjee's observation on Yoga and tweeted saying, "Wonderfully expressed by Pranab Da".

"It is a matter of pride for the entire nation that an eminent statesman like him enriched the Yoga Day celebrations with his blessings and participation".

Pranab Mukherjee attended the Yoga Day celebrations at the Iyengar Yoga Centre in the capital on Friday.

"I believe that it is perhaps only yoga that can provide complete answer to a person's physical, mental, moral & spiritual well being in a holistic manner," Mr Mukherjee had tweeted.
