PM Modi files nomination from Varanasi

Varanasi, Apr 26 (IBNS): A day after holding a mega roadshow, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday filed his nomination from Uttar Pradesh's Varanasi to contest the Lok Sabha polls.

Modi is also the outgoing MP of Varanasi.

The Prime Minister was accompanied by top Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders along with allies like Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Shiv Sena's Uddhav Thackeray while filing his nomination.

Varanasi will go to polls on May 19.
