Pakistan violates ceasefire on LoC in Poonch

Jammu, Apr 4 (UNI): Pakistan troops on Thursday yet again violated the ceasefire by firing unprovoked along the Line of Control in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.

“Pakistani troops this evening at around 1800 hrs fired unprovoked and shelled forward villages in Degwar and Gupur sector of Poonch,” official sources here said.

They said that Indian Army has effectively retaliated to the cross border firing and no injury has been reported so far.

On Monday, a BSF jawan was martyred while two others including a girl and a woman died as Pakistan violated the ceasefire and fired unprovoked by targeting forward villages along the Line of Control in Poonch district.
