One killed, three injured within seconds of lightning strike in Gurugram, shows CCTV footage

Gurugram/IBNS: A man was killed and three others were injured on Friday evening when a lightning struck a tree under which they had taken shelter from rain, said media reports.

The incident was caught on a security camera of Signature Villas apartment complex in Sector 82 of Gurugram, added media reports.

The CCTV recording shows three men standing under a tree when suddenly lightning strikes. Within seconds three people fall down and a third man leaning against the tree collapses after a second.

They were immediately rushed to a local hospital. While two of them are out of danger, one is being treated for severe burn injuries in the intensive care unit of the hospital. However, one of them was brought dead, informed the reports.
