Kolkata, Feb 13 (IBNS): The National Security Guard (NSG) on Monday afternoon hosted a counter-terror mock drill at Alipore mint in Kolkata, officials said.

According to reports, NSG commandos along with specially trained Kolkata Police's anti-terror unit carried out hour-long mock drill and airdrop exercise at the Central government facility.

"It was a routine mock drill of NSG where Kolkata Police also took part," a senior official of Kolkata Police told IBNS.

Commandos of NSG and Kolkata Police usually conduct such anti-terror practices together often inside metro tunnels at midnight, according to officials.
