NSA Doval to lead Indian delegation at boundary talks with Chinese Foreign Minister

New Delhi/UNI: The 22nd meeting of the Special Representatives for India-China Boundary Question will be held here on Saturday.

The Indian delegation will be led by National Security Advisor, Ajit Doval, and the Chinese side will be led by visiting Foreign Minister Wang Yi.

That this will be the first meeting of the Special Representatives between the two countries since the 2nd Informal Summit between Prime Minister Modi and President Xi Jinping at Mamallapuram in October this year.

The Chinese President Xi Jinping had expressed desire to work for a fair and reasonable solution to the border issue that is "acceptable to both sides".

"The Special Representative (SR) talks is the main channel and an important platform for our negotiations and strategic communications," Chinese foreign ministry has said.
