New Delhi, Jun 3 (UNI) The Centre on Monday decided to give Cabinet rank to the National Security Advisor Ajit Doval after his reappointment, a senior official in the security set up said here.

He has been reappointed for the next five years.

He served as Intelligence Bureau Director from 2004 to 2005 after spending a decade as head of the 'Operation wing'.
