Novak beats Andy Murray to lift French Open title

Paris, June 5 (IBNS): Serbian Tennis star Novak Djokovic on Sunday continued his dominance on the court as he defeated Britain's Andy Murray in the French Open final to lift the title here.

Novak defeated his opponent 3-6 6-1 6-2 6-4.

This was the first time he lifted the French Open title.

With this achievement, Novak became the first man since 1969 to simultaneously hold all four major titles after winning his first title at Roland-Garros.

From a set down, Novak fought hard for over three hours and five minutes match to win the title.

Novak completed the grand slam set.
