Barrackpore/Kolkata, Sep 17 (UNI): The Barasat Court on Tuesday rejected ADG CID Rajeev Kumar's anticipatory bail application, saying, " It's a trial court and has no jurisdiction."

Justice Sanjeev Taluka told Kumar's advocates that he has no jurisdiction of the case because it is a trial court for MPs and MLAs and advised them to move the district sessions court.

The report said the lawyers of Kumar had moved the sessions court.

Kumar, a former Kolkata Police Commissioner, is accused of destroying evidences of the Saradha chit fund case.
