New Delhi, June 13 (IBNS): No one survived the June 2 crash of the AN 32 aircraft in Arunnachal Pradesh, the Indian Air Force said today.

"Eight members of the rescue team have reached the crash site today morning. IAF is sad to inform that there are no survivors from the crash of An32," the IAF said on Twitter.

The Soviet-era twin engine turboprop transport aircraft had gone missing on June 3 while flying from Assam's Jorhat to Mechuka in Arunachal Pradesh.

The authorities had a tough time finding the wreckage amid bad weather and difficult terrain.

The wreckage was finally found on Tuesday, eight days after the plane disappeared, in the mountains at a height of around 12,000 feet.
