No dominance of Hindus or Muslims, but Indians: RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat

Nagpur/IBNS: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat has batted for an inclusive society where there can't be dominance of any community but Indians.

Bhagwat said, "Hindu-Muslim unity is misleading as they're not different, but one. The DNA of all Indians is the same, irrespective of religion."

"We are in a democracy. There can't be a dominance of Hindus or Muslims. There can only be the dominance of Indians," he added.

Bhagwat has said people indulging in lynching are against Hindutva, which is an agenda of RSS' political wing and the country's ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

"Don't get trapped in the cycle of fear that Islam is in danger in India," he said, reaching out to the Muslims.

Over the last few years, the country has witnessed a number of lynching incidents where Muslims were attacked, lynched in various parts of the country.
