| @indiablooms | Jul 31, 2020, at 09:35 pm

Lucknow/UNI: Bahujan Samaj party president Mayawati on Friday said that a dalit Mahamandaleshwar was not among the 200 invitees for the bhoomi pujan on August 5.

In couple of tweets, she said "it would have been better if dalit Mahamandeleshwar Swami Kanihya Prabhunandan Giri were among the 200 invitees for the Bhoomi pujan on August 5 in Ayodhya. This decision would have given strength to the Constitutional idea of a casteless society."

In her next tweet, she said that," the dalit community should not get involved in these castist ignorance, atrocities and insult but should believe in work and achieving power for their upliftment. It is the suggestion of BSP to every dalits to follow the path shown by Dr Bhimrao Amdedkar to achieve the goal."
