Nitish Kumar sworn-in as Bihar Chief Minister
Patna, Nov 20 (IBNS) Nitish Kumar was sworn-in as Chief Minister of Bihar for the third time at a glittering ceremony held at the Gandhi maidan on Friday in presence of a large number of political leaders from across the country.
Among others, who took oath as ministers are Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Prasad Yadav's sons- Tejaswi and Tej Pratap. Twentysix-year-old Tejawsi Pratap is likely to the Deputy Chief Minister in the Nitish Kumar cabinet.
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee her Himachal Pradesh counterpart Virbhadra Singh, former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and his father Farooq Abdullah and former Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit were among others present at the progtramme.
Union Minister Venkiah Naidu and senior BJP leader Sushil Modi also attended the ceremony.
