New Delhi-bound Indigo flight makes emergency landing in Bhubaneswar

| @indiablooms | Sep 04, 2023, at 08:00 pm

A technical snag forced a New Delhi-bound IndiGo flight to make an emergency landing at Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) in Bhubaneswar on Monday.

BPIA sources said one of the engines of the Indigo flight developed a technical snag soon after it took off from the airport.

The flight 6E-2065 with about 180 passengers, however, landed safely after the pilot noticed a technical snag in the aircraft and was forced to return to the BPIA.

The flight, which took off from Bhubaneswar airport for New Delhi at 7:50 AM, developed some technical snags in its left engine after a 20–25-minute flight, forcing the pilot to return to BPIA.
