Naxals attack ITBP camp in Chhattisgarh
Raipur, Jun 9 (IBNS): Naxals attacked an Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) camp in the Kondagaon district of Chhattisgarh on Thursday morning by surrounding the camp from three sides, reported the media.
The para-military force had to face heavy gunfire; even rockets were fired at them.
The attack began a little after midnight and continued until around three am on Thursday with both sides firing around 600 rounds of bullets, according to media reports.
The Naxal retreated to the forest and no casualty was reported from either side.
