Nationalism only a slogan for BJP, nothing else: AAP

| @indiablooms | Jun 11, 2019, at 08:52 pm

Patna, Jun 11 (UNI): Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) today accused BJP of misusing nationalism as mere slogan for its political gains while entire government and national economy had been pushed under the grip of Gujarat during the regime of Narendra Modi government.

Mr Sanjay Singh, Rajya Sabha MP and in-charge of party affairs of Bihar, after meeting of the state executive of AAP, told media persons here that nationalism was being used by BJP only for its political gains as the party had nothing to do with nationalism.

Government and national economy had been placed under the grip of Gujarat during the regime of Narendra Modi government, he added.

"Prime Minister Narendra Modi is himself from Gujarat, home minister Amit Shah is also from Gujarat while big industrialists like Ambanis and Adanis are also from Gujarat," Mr Singh said adding that Mr Modi should have chosen a leader from any other state in place of Mr Shah to show his commitment for nationalism.

BJP was talking about what kind of nationalism, if entire government and national economy had been pushed under the grip of Gujarat, he asked.
