New Delhi: Showing the popularity he enjoys online, Indian PM Narendra Modi's Instagram page is followed by 30 million netizens now.

Congratulating the PM over the new achievement, the Bharatiya Janata Party tweeted: " Heartiest congratulations to Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi on crossing 30 million followers on Instagram, a platform immensely popular with youth.He is the world’s most followed leader on Instagram."

Modi is a regular user of social media platforms like Instagram and Twitter.

He uses them to communicate his thoughts and inform people on various issues.

He is followed by 50.7 million netizens on Twitter.
