Narendra Modi to visit Varanasi today to launch BJP's countrywide membership drive

New Delhi, July 6 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Varanasi city on Saturday to start the Bharatiya Janata Party's countrywide membership drive.

He will also perform several other functions in his Parliamentary constituency.

I look forward to being in Varanasi tomorrow, where I will take part in various programmes.

The first programme is the unveiling of the great Lal Bahadur Shastri Ji’s statue at the airport.

This will be followed by the programme marking the launch of a tree-plantation drive.

Speaking on the membership drive, he said: "On the Jayanti of our inspiration, Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee, the @BJP4India Membership Drive will begin. Modi won the Lok Sabha polls for the second consecutive term from Varanasi this year.
