Narendra Modi congratulates Donald Trump

New Delhi, Jan 20 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday congratulated Donald Trump as he took oath as the President of the USA.

"Congratulations @realDonaldTrump on assuming office as US President. Best wishes in leading USA to greater achievements in the coming years," Modi tweeted.

"Strength of the India-USA strategic partnership lies in our shared values and common interests," he said.

Modi said he is looking forward to work with the US President.

"Looking forward to working with President @realDonaldTrump to further deepen India-US ties & realise the full potential of our cooperation," he said.
