Kolkata/New Delhi, Apr 19 (IBNS): The three-men committee, which has been appointed by the Calcutta High Court, on Monday evening collected the unedited footage of a sting operation from Narada News's CEO Mathew Samuel in New Delhi, sources confirmed.

The committee has collected the mobile phone, which was used to shoot the video and Mathew Samuel's contact number as well.

Earlier on Apr 12, a division bench of the Calcutta High Court, comprising of Chief Justice Manjulla Chellur and Justice Arijit Banerjee, set up a three-member committee, comprising of Calcutta High Court's registrar Jayanta Kumar Kole, IG of West Bengal Police Recruitment Cell Anil Kumar and CBI Anti Corruption Branch's SP Nagendra Prasad, to collect the raw footage of Narada News's sting operation from company's CEO Mathew Samuel in New Delhi.

The committee is likely to submit the pen drive, containing unedited sting footage and video-making gadget before the division bench on Tuesday.

However, the entire procedure, relating to collection and submission, has been kept confidential.

Since Mar 14, news Portal- Narada News- released several sting operation footage, where the ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC) leaders, ministers, MPs and MLAs were exposed while taking bribes.

As many as three Public Interest Litigations (PIL), demanding the CBI and ED joint probe into the matter, were filed before the High Court. The next hearing date in this case has been set on Apr 15.

Meanwhile, denying their involvement in this matter and claiming the videos were doctored, the TMC has already announced to conduct an internal probe into the case.
