Mysuru: Security tightened at st Philomena Church

Mysuru, Apr 23(UNI) Following the terror attack at Churches in Sri Lanka which claimed lives of more than 300 innocent people, the district administration has provided high level security to the famous st Philomena Church in the City.

Police said on Tuesday that the security has been tightened as a precautionary measure and round the clock security has been provided. Besides a bomb diffusion squad will also visit the Church and inspect every day.

The St Philomena Church is a classic representation of neo-gothic architecture based on the cologne cathedral in Germany and it is one of the famous tourist destination in South India.
