New Delhi, June 17 (IBNS): The Monsoon Session of the Parliament will begin from Monday.

This is the first Parliament session since the new government was formed last month.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led the Bharatiya Janata Party script a massive victory in the Lok Sabha polls in the Lok Sabha polls this year.

Modi took oath as the PM of the country for the second consecutive term.

This session assumes significance as Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the Budget on July 5.

On Sunday,  Modi attended  an all-party meeting to seek support on the smooth running of parliament.

He described the meeting as 'fruitful'.

" We, the NDA family look forward to fulfilling the dreams of 130 crore Indians, who have reposed unparalleled faith in our alliance. We shall fulfil regional aspirations and work untiringly for national progress. Here are glimpses from the NDA meet in New Delhi," Modi tweeted.

This session of the Parliament will take place till July 26.
