Modi targets Mamata in West Bengal rally

| | Apr 10, 2014, at 07:29 pm
Siliguri, Apr 10 (IBNS) Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi here went all out to slam West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and urged people to bring real change in the state while not sparing the Trinamool supremo over the Saradha ponzi meltdown.

Instead of going soft on Mamata Banerjee, Modi here in Darjeeling district said the WB CM cannot digest her food without criticizing him and to check her a strong regime is required in New Delhi.

"A scam may be big or small, but it shows the mentality of the people who commit these loots. Chit fund cheating has happened and money of the poor has gone. Bless us so that we can punish those who cheated the poor," said Modi referring to the Saradha scam.

"Nation needs a strong government. You gave 60 years to Congress please give us 60 months," he said.

Accusing Mamata Banerjee of vote bank politics, Modi said the chief minister of West Bengal is targetting Modi instead of Left or Congress and "she cannot digest her food without criticising Modi hundred times a day."

"The more dirt you throw more the Lotus will shine. There are still a few days left for you to do this," said Modi.

"The sight here shows real Parivartan is coming. We have seen the Nakli Parivartan now is time for Asli Parivartan," said Modi.
