New Delhi, May 26 (IBNS): The Congress on Thursday slammed the Centre as it completed two years in the office and said it has made ' hollow promises' to the people of the country.

"2 years of Modi government has been full of hollow promises. Government has been thriving on advertisements," Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad said.

He accused that the government is spreading fear across the nation.

" Dalit, women, students are living in fear," he said.

He said government has not taken any step to solve the problems faced by farmers.

Speaking on the issue of foreign policy, Azad said: "Foreign policy of the this government has been consistently inconsistent."

Narendra Modi, who on May 26, 2014, took oath as the 15th Prime Minister of the country, after his party received the largest mandate ever, completed two years on Thursday.

Modi marked the occasion by posting a video on Twitter.

The video shows the different amenities the present government have provided to the people.

In a separate tweet, the PM said, "All round and inclusive development for #TransformingIndia."
