Mobile shop owner detained by Rajasthan ATS over ISIS link

Chennai, Jul 4 (IBNS): A joint team of Rajasthan Anti Terror Squad (ATS) and Chennai police on Tuesday arrested a mobile shop owner from Chennai's Burma Bazaar area over suspected terror link with ISIS, reports said..

The suspect has been identified as Haroon, 30.

Police said that they found out about Haroon after interrogating another man, Mohammed Iqbal, a resident of Mylapore.

Iqbal stated that Haroon was facilitating the ISIS with funds and recruitment.

Rajasthan ATS is conducting a background check on him and is also checking his bank accounts to check the money flow.
