Military mass band displayed in Nagaland

Guwahati, Jan 25 (IBNS): A Mass Band Display was organized by the Indian Army to commemorate the 68th Republic Day for civil populace and school children residing in the vicinity of Zakhama at Loyola School playground in Nagaland on Wednesday.

Kohima Deputy Commissioner Rajesh Soundararajan  was the Chief Guest in the presence all military officials and dignitaries.

All the villagers from the nearby villages were invited.

In addition the students of different colleges and schools also witnessed the display.

The Mass Band Display started with the opening address followed by various rhythms played by the display team.

There was great excitement among the civil populace and a positive response was received from the audience.

The display concluded with tea and refreshments to all the audience.

This event will go a long way in enhancing the civil-military cohesion and relations.
