Migrant, suspected to be COVID 19 positive, dies in Buxar

Buxar/UNI: A migrant labourer died during treatment at Buxar Sadar Hospital late last night.

Civil surgeon Jitendranath said here on Thursday that the migrant labourer had returned from Faridabad of Haryana on May 16 after which he was quarantined at Itarhi block.

He said that the labourer was admitted at Buxar Sadar Hospital on May 25 after he fell ill and died on the night of May 27.

The deceased was engaged in a paint company at Faridabad.

He said that the sample of the deceased has been sent for medical examination and only after getting the report it would be confirmed whether he was suffering from coronavirus infection.

The body of the deceased would be handed over to his relatives only after getting the report.
