Mercury stays below normal in Himachal Pradesh

Shimla, Apr 20 (UNI) With mainly sunny to partly cloudy weather Mercury still keeping below normal in the state as Met Office recorded minimum temperature one to two degrees and maximum two to three degree below normal during last 24 hrs.

The sky was partly cloudy in the afternoon however it was mainly sunny and dry in the state in the morning.


With minimum temperature at 2.4 degree Celsius Keylong in Lahaul Spiti was coldest in the state Kalpa was 4.8 degrees. Manali 5.2 degrees, Bhuntar 10.8 degrees, Tourist resort Dalhousie, Shimla and Solna 11 degrees EACH , Nahan in Sirmuar 11.7 degrees Dharmshala 11.8 degrees Chamba 11.9 degrees Sundernaga in Mandi 12.9 degrees, Kangra 13 degrees, Bilaspur 13.9 degrees, Hamirpur 14.2 degrees Una 14.6 degrees, Mandi 14.7 degrees respectively.


Maximum temperature in Una was highest in the state recorded 22.8 degrees, Bilaspur 30.9 degrees Kangra 30.3 degrees Hamirpur 30.4 degrees, Sundernagar 29 degrees, Bhuntar in Kullu 28.6 degrees, Nahan 28.3 degrees, Dharmshala 23.4 degrees, Shimla 20.5 degrees, Kalpa 19.7 degrees and Keylong 12 degrees respectively.

 

The Met Office forecast mainly dry weather in the state during next 24 hrs,.
