Kolkata, Jan 28 (IBNS): Congress MP from West Bengal Mausam Noor joined Mamata Banerjee's Trinamool Congress today, local media said.

The former West Bengal Youth Congress president went to Nabanna, the state secretariat to meet Mamata on Monday.

Reports said Trinamool will likely field her from the Malda North constituency in the next general elections.

As things stand now, Trinamool will not form any pre-poll truck with the Congress in West Bengal in the Lok Sabha Polls.
