Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board official found dead in his quarter at Adh Kuwari

Jammu/UNI: An official of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board was found dead under mysterious circumstances in his quarter at Adh Kuwari, police here said on Wednesday.
 

Police said that a Deputy Manager with Shrine Board, deployed at Adh Kuwari, Sham Singh, 59, was found dead in Tuesday in his official quarter under mysterious circumstances by the staff members.

When the staff knocked on the door and got no response, they smelling foul, broke the bolted door and found the manager dead.
Initially, it seems to be a case of suicide but the matter is being investigated, police said.

"Board of Director have conducted the postmortem and report is awaited to ascertain the cause of death," police added.
