Warangal/IBNS: A 24-year old man killed nine people in Telangana's Warangal to cover up his murder of a woman, police said on Tuesday.

The man has been arrested.

The bodies of six of nine people- belonging to the same family- and three others from Bihar and Tripura were found in a well.

Police said Sanjeev Kumar Yadav, the accused, spiked the food of the nine people with sleeping pills and later dumped into a well.

The six of the family, Masood, his wife, their two sons, daughter Bushra and her three-year old son, were found dead along with three others.

Yadav has allegedly killed a woman on Mar 6.

The wife of Masood had threatened Yadav to report the missing woman to police.
