Maharashtra: Teenager drowns while bathing in river Godavari

Nashik, May 27 (UNI) A 19 -year old boy drowned while taking bath in Godavari river near Koture village area in Nifad taluka of the district, police said on Monday.

The deceased was identified as Karan Vijay Jadhav, a resident of Kasbe Sukene village.

According to the police on Sunday, the deceased along with his family members had gone for swimming and suddenly the teenager drowned.

The body has been sent for post mortem to rural hospital. A case has been registered under relevant sections, police added.
