Maharashtra: ATM cash loaders robbed of Rs 16 lakh in Nagpur

Nagpur, Jun 4 (UNI) Three masked men reportedly robbed Rs 16 lakh from two cash loaders of State Bank of India (SBI) ATM in Katol area, informed the police on Tuesday.

According to police, the robbery happened on Monday after the two cash loaders-Dhanraj Charpe and Anup Bankar-collected Rs 51 lakh cash from the SBI Katol branch in the morning and refilled Rs 22 lakh and Rs 13 lakh at two ATMs in Katol area and Metpanjara village respectively.

The duo cash loaders are the employees of the Logicash Solutions Company, which owes the responsibility of refilling SBI ATMs, said police.

The robbers snatched away the cash bag from Dhanraj and Anup, who were on their way to refill the SBI ATM near Bhagirath Textile Company.

A case has been registered under the relevant IPC sections and a manhunt launched to nab the robbers, told police.
