Maharashtra: 70-yr-old woman killed in leopard attack in Ahmednagar
Nashik, Sep 1 (UNI) A 70-year-old woman was killed after being attacked by a leopard at Vadner Budruk village of Parner taluka in Ahmednagar district.
The incident occurred on Saturday morning when Radhabai Karbhari Vaje went to her orchard of pomegranate behind her house, where the leopard was hiding.
Upon receiving information, a team of police and Forest staff rushed to the spot, sources said.
The villagers said that the leopard was spotted moving in the area since last 2-3 months and they demanded to set up trap to catch the leopard.
